Omaha Burke Invitational
Date: Saturday, September 7
Location: Walnut Grove Park
Parking: Park on west side, church to the south of Q street, or parking lots west of the park
Reporting Time: JV Girls runners by 7:00 a.m. Everyone else by 7:30 a.m.

8:40 a.m. Girls Varsity
9:10 a.m. Boys Varsity
9:40 a.m. Boys JV
Awards to follow boys JV race near start/finish line. (~10:30 a.m.)

Awards: Medals to top 15 individuals in all races. Championship medals and T-shirts to winning varsity teams

Scoring: Top 5 individual runners place from each team are added together. Lowest score wins.

Teams: Bellevue East, Bellevue West, Elkhorn South, Gretna, Kearney (Boys only), Lincoln Northeast, Lincoln Southeast, Omaha Mercy, Millard North, Millard West, Omaha Bryan, Omaha Burke, Omaha South, Papillion-La Vista (Girls only), Skutt Catholic

This is a large meet for Walnut Grove. Parking will not be easy in the park unless you get there early. We are asked to remind parents not to park on the grass in the park anywhere near the lines on the cross country course and to stay away from the start and finish line while the races are starting and finishing.

We will have a family picnic following the awards ceremony at the shelter in the park on the northeast end. I will be getting there early to reserve the shelter.
